Commission scope

Commissioned by editorial and publishing clients, brand and advertising agencies, and corporate clients for advertising campaigns and gift items. Typical commissions include illustration for publication, campaign artwork that also serves as a print source, single portrait-style pieces, and abstract or interpretive originals where line and colour carry the work. Subject and approach are agreed before execution; reproduction rights, where required, are negotiated separately from the original.

Initial enquiry with the brief and intended use, then a written agreement confirming subject, format, timeline, and any reproduction rights. Execution to the agreed brief. Delivery of the signed original, with reproduction file supplied where licensed.

Deliverables & rights

You receive one signed original, produced to archival standards and reproduction-grade for licensing where agreed. Originals are unique. Reproduction rights are licensed separately and itemised in writing; copyright remains with the artist unless full transfer of rights is agreed.

Commercial signals

Timeline: 2 to 6 weeks from order confirmation. Each commission is developed and budgeted individually; the figure is established during the enquiry stage, before any commitment is made.
