Commission scope

Commissioned by corporate clients for awards, framed dedications, founder-quote pieces, and event and presentation materials; by editorial and publishing clients for covers, headlines, and mastheads; and by private clients for personal dedications and framed gifts. Each piece is rendered by hand. Techniques include pen calligraphy, brush lettering, and decorative typographic compositions; the approach is chosen against the text and intended use. High-resolution reproduction files are supplied when the work will be used in print or outdoor advertising.

Initial enquiry with the text, intended use, and any visual references; followed by a written commission brief confirming the chosen style, format, timeline, and reproduction rights. Execution to the approved brief. Delivery of the signed original, plus reproduction file where licensed.

Deliverables & rights

You receive one signed original, created to archival standards. Reproduction rights — for use in print media, outdoor advertising, or merchandise — are licensed separately and detailed in a written agreement. Copyright remains with the artist unless full transfer of rights is agreed in writing.

Commercial signals

Timeline: 1 to 4 weeks from brief approval, depending on scope. Each commission is developed and budgeted individually; the figure is established during the enquiry stage, before any commitment is made.
